In steel plant, Feeding scrap into pit with help of normal material handling equipment like belt conveyors is not possible due to multiple reasons eg high temprature and non stop operations etc. So we must develop a solution that can solve these problems and the solution is Vibratory feeder. A gantry rail is constructed from to pit to scrap loading area and vibratory feeder can run on this gantry beam. It moves to the scrap loading area with help of wirelessly operate-able drive system installed on the chassis. Scrap is loaded into its basket and then in moves to pit.
